Iceman (2014) Review

At the age of 53, Donnie Yen is known as the martial arts/actor most predominant in capturing the Hong Kong audience’s heart with his sweet skills and likable persona – all the while appearing in a few American features, too. Iceman is one the actor’s many Hong Kong blockbuster bogeys; a limp, colorful, and CGI-heavy feature with an absurd amount of hair blowing in the wind, and yet it’s also a slightly enjoyable flick – that is, once you acknowledge that what you are seeing is utter shit. Donnie Yen’s wig is probably the most moving thing in this ridiculous feature.
