Ruby Spark (2012) Review

What steps Ruby Sparks apart from other romantic comedies is how elegantly simple, and masterful it plays itself to be. The premise is straightforward; a novelist with writer’s block suddenly has the urge to write about a girl he’s seen in his dreams, until one day, she suddenly appears in his kitchen. It’s simple and effective and undeniably charming. Ruby Sparks blends fiction with non-fiction while creating a loving and unadulterated view on love, life, and imagination.
